DOORWAYS is the project of Saga Briggs, a freelance journalist and editor. After leaving Portland, Oregon in 2013, Saga gradually turned what began as a year-long world tour into an open-ended way of life, working remotely as a writer and editor while house sitting for families across the globe. In 2018, she settled in Berlin and continues to house sit on occasion. As of 2023, she has completed 50+ house sits in 20+ countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, England, Scotland, Canada, the US, and Japan.
