"I'm looking for warm, friendly folks who enjoy being around both animals and people. The ideal candidate(s) would be easy going, adventurous and possess plenty of common sense. Responsibilities include feeding and walking dogs and cat, giving copious amounts of love to said animals, greeting guests upon arrival (I handle most everything for the rentals from the back end) and just being around to address any issues that may come up (and believe me, they will!). In a small beach/tourist town on Costa Rica's northwest pacific coast. The best thing about the property is the location, it's right on the beach! The house itself is rustic, one of the oldest houses in the town, but provides everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The space is only large enough to accommodate a single or a couple, unfortunately we cannot consider children."

Pet sitter needed for a cat called Stumply on the Mekong River.

"We live in a detached three bedroom house in a quiet part of Vientiane, Laos. We have a compound with mango trees and palms. There is plenty of space and it is verty relaxing. We are both vegetarians and work in international development. We came to Laos from Cambodia with our cat six months ago from Cambodia (she "adopted" us there). She likes human contact - goes out a little but likes to spend most of the time at home and usually sleeps with us. Vientiane is a very easy going city on the Mekong River. The cost of living is cheap and it is possible to cross over the river to Thailand. We are looking for someone who loves animals and will look after our house for up to three weeks in the New year 2019 when we plan to go on home leave to UK."

"We are looking for sitters who are reliable, friendly and able to look after our lively dog and cat. Our house is under renovation but has one side of the house fully renovated, and also has a one bedroomed Gîte, in one part of the house. It is in a lovely area of the Charente maritime. Our house is cosy and well maintained. We love it and we hope you will too.Why not enjoy Christmas in France! We have several towns nearby that will have activities including Saintes and Cognac. The Gironde estuary is 10mins by car, and the beautiful beaches of St George de Didonne and Royan are only 30mins drive."

Sitter needed in winter time for a quiet spot on the coast of Sardinia.

"On a smooth hill overlooking the bay of Porto Ottiolu there is a house with a breathtaking view on the coast, where, for many years, my family has spent summer holidays and short winter breaks. A few years ago I refurbished a part of the house, with the purpose of creating two small apartments attached to the main house, to host friends and acquaintances. They are conceived for people who are looking for a destination where peaceful and quiet time can be enjoyed, and more crowded and lively moments are equally close during summer time. My wish is to have a person staying in one of the apartments during wintertime, so that the the property is attended. The ideal person would be someone who loves quiet places, sea and nature. My request is that this person should (i) keep the apartment in good conditions, (ii) feed a couple of nice cats (they are totally independent and lives in the garden, as we do not allow them to get inside the house), and (iii) ideally, do some garden care.  No rent would be charged; however, I would ask this person to pay the fees of utilities (energy, gas, water). I hope this idea appeals to someone and that he/she would share the same 'sharing approach' that I have."
